  4. Cooking: Gently steam the stuffed mussels in a pot with a little water or broth until the filling is cooked through and the mussels open slightly. Important: The mussels are not cooked first to open them, but are opened raw for stuffing. When steamed, they close slightly again and cook with the filling.
