Intro/Story
When chrononauts travel between times, they need a snack that is both filling and inspiring. Khachapuri—Georgian cheese bread—is served in the chrononaut version with gear details and rustic presentation. A snack that combines tradition and mechanics.
Khachapuri is a traditional Georgian cheese bread that is filled with cheese before baking and is considered a popular snack. The dough, made from wheat flour, mazoni (Georgian yogurt), and baking soda, is refined with Imeruli and Sulguni cheese and baked in the oven until golden brown. Georgian cuisine has numerous regional variations: Adjaruli khachapuri with egg yolk, Megruli with extra cheese on top, Imeruli with Imeretian cheese, or Penowani made from puff pastry. Khachapuri is served in Georgia for breakfast as well as a quick street food in cities, and is also popular in Russia and other Eastern European countries.
